Duty Engineer
Responsibilities
- Ensures the correct, efficient and timely operation and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical services
- Provides technical support and leads and supervises in fault diagnosis and trouble shooting
- Constantly evaluate the systems, plants operation for modification and improvement
- Supervises all jobs assigned to outside contractors
- Keeps the Duty Manager informed of any major breakdowns or incidents during the shift
- Assists in coordinating and execution of special projects and contractual work
- Ensures that all established rules, regulations, policies and procedures are strictly adhered to
Requirements
- Formal Apprenticeship Training/OC/HC in related Engineering discipline or equivalent qualification background
- Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker Grade A or above
- 3 years with Hotel engineering working experience or equivalent related experience
- Good technical knowledge in electrical system, fire services system, plumbing & drainage system and MVAC system, etc
- Work on night shift, weekends, and/or holidays may be required
