‘Postcard Stories’ by Yip Yew Chong

In celebration of Singapore’s 60th year of independence, The Fullerton Heritage presents a special collaboration with Singaporean artist Yip Yew Chong to recreate old postcard scenes of The Fullerton Heritage precinct, and tell stories of Singapore’s evolving cityscape. Titled ‘Postcard Stories’, the installation features 32 metres of hand-painted murals in hues of old postcards, interspersed with three-dimensional pop-up props.

As part of the experience, artist Yip Yew Chong will paint and set up the scenes live on site during the first two weeks of July. Guests and passers-by are welcome to witness the creative process in real time, offering a rare behind-the-scene glimpse into the artist’s techniques and storytelling approach.
