Memory Lane Afternoon Tea

As we celebrate SG60, we warmly welcome Ya Kun Kaya Toast as a special guest in our teatime ritual, bringing a cherished local tradition to our historic setting.

An icon of Singapore heritage, Ya Kun is a well-loved brand steeped in legacy. Its story began in 1944 when Loi Ah Koon, a Chinese immigrant from Hainan, arrived in Singapore and started working at a coffee stall. Through determination and a tireless work ethic, he soon opened his own modest stall at Telok Ayer Basin, serving authentic Hainanese-style coffee, soft-boiled eggs, and his now-famous kaya toast — crisp toast layered with fragrant kaya jam made from coconut milk, eggs, sugar, and pandan.



Today, Ya Kun has established a regional presence, sharing Singapore’s celebrated breakfast culture and warm hospitality with the world. Staying true to its roots, it continues to offer timeless favourites with the sincerity that shaped its early years.

For this special occasion, our talented culinary team has reimagined these nostalgic flavours into elegant creations, thoughtfully crafted with signature Ya Kun ingredients and paired with its comforting brews.

S$60++ per adult; S$30++per child (six to 11 years old), inclusive of Nanyang Breeze mocktail and a serving of Ya Kun coffee or tea

Monday to Thursday: 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Friday to Sunday, two seatings:
12.00 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. | 3.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Exclusively on 2, 3, 9, 10 August (both seatings):
Live brewing station where Ya Kun brewers will pull Ya Kun coffee and tea using the heritage method
