Reduce Single-use Plastic Consumption – Smart Filtered Water Refill Stations
The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong has partnered with Urban Spring to offer smart filtered water refill stations called Well井 all around the hotel as a sustainable option to replace plastic bottled water, reducing single-use plastic.
Well井 uses data, sensor, real-time alerts and remote monitoring to ensure clean filtered drinking water is consistently served to our hotel guests. Fitted with International NSF Certified Filtration System, and designed with a hidden, self-rinsing nozzle, the drinking water is reassured of a trusted quality with all impurities removed.
A unique interactive screen on Well井 displays the accumulative number of plastic bottles saved as a reinforcement to guests who are making a difference to the environment. This interactive experience is designed to inspire our guests whilst refill their glass flasks provided in the rooms, to raise the awareness of how a simple change of behaviour can bring about direct positive impact to the Earth.
