At our dining outlets, we have replaced all plastic takeaway packaging and cutlery with sustainable corn-starch alternatives.
We have eliminated the use of single-use plastic straws and stirrers and replaced them with plant-based alternatives. Pulp paper napkins have been replaced with napkins made from eco bamboo fibre, and single-use plastic bags have been replaced with re-usable non-woven bags. We have replaced all our plastic bottles with glass bottles, and plastic bottles in meeting rooms have been replaced with refillable water pitches.
In our guestrooms, all amenity bottles contain EcoPure®, an organic additive which speeds up the biodegradation of plastic. We collaborate with Clean the World® to recycle used soap bars and redistribute them to developing nations.
Digital e-compendium tablets are available in every guestroom, reducing the need for paper and allowing guests to browse information and make requests conveniently at the touch of a finger.
Recycling bins are also available in all guestrooms for guests to sort their recyclable waste.
