FOR THE LOVE OF CHOCOLATE AFTERNOON TEA

THE COURTYARD
The Fullerton Hotel Singapore
5 July to 3 October 2024

A teatime celebration of one of the world’s most adored culinary inventions. Relish a repertoire of freshly crafted chocolate-themed pastries, paired with nature’s sweets for a richly refreshing outcome.

“Nature and chocolate are best enjoyed in the moment — nature with its fleeting beauty, and chocolate with its melting richness. Despite their transient features, both leave a profound and lasting impact on one’s senses. Inspired by this mutually shared quality, our team has composed a special repertoire to marry the nuanced notes of chocolate with the fresh flavours of fruit and nuts.”
— Executive Pastry Chef Siddharth Prabhu

Highlights include the Cherry, a classic pairing of Morello cherry and Guanaja chocolate crème, and the Hazelnut, dark chocolate choux pastry juxtaposed with crunchy hazelnut praline and cocoa biscuit. Six savoury pastries complement the sweet escape, from roasted prime beef with Manjari cacao nibs to marinated sea prawn with yuzu pearl.

The Chocolate Trolley makes its debut at The Courtyard’s well-loved daily ritual, beckoning with an assortment of confectionary. Enhance your afternoon interlude with bite-sized sweets like sea salt caramel almonds, blackcurrant pralines, and more.

‘Chocol-Art’ on a Plate: A World Chocolate Day Special

In celebration of World Chocolate Day on 7 July, guests dining on 5 to 7 July will be in for a visual treat at a live station, where our pastry chef will present the special Enchanted Chocolate Forest creation.

Quintessential Accompaniments

Staying true to the daily ritual, each set will be served with freshly baked scones, clotted cream, and jam. The experience is completed with a glass of iced chocolate and a premium beverage selection from TWG Tea and Bacha Coffee.
