Assistant Events Planning Manager
Responsibilities
- Identifying market needs and trends in Catering, Wedding, Social, Conference, Corporate businesses, defining the target markets, review direct competition and ensure complete awareness by all competitor’s activities, strategies, and promotion
- Develop existing business and solicit new catering business through catering lead generation and catering sales marketing, solicit new catering customers through traditional and non-traditional techniques
- Compilation key financial reports for business analysis, event & catering budget business plan, regular budget and forecast reports, team production tracking/management
- Conduct market research on competitors’ analysis and market trends
- Monitor competitor set activities and intelligence sources to identify sources of business and prospect new leads/accounts to exceed fair market share performance
- Follow through the entire event / group from the handover file from sales till the completion of the event / departure of the group
Requirements
- Bachelor’ degree or above
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Catering position
- Aggressive and positive working attitude
- Solid experience in event and wedding planning within hotel / resort area, extensive knowledge and background in wedding planning
- In-depth industry knowledge
- Able to manage the identification and resolution of day-to-day problems related to event/wedding requests
- Excellent Mandarin and English written and verbal communication skills
- Candidate with more experience will be consider as Events Planning Manager
