Truffle Season at The Place 

This winter, The Place is embracing the rich, earthy flavours of truffle season with a specially curated three-course menu, showcasing premium black truffles sourced from Canberra. 

Begin your truffle journey with Sonoma sourdough served alongside whipped truffle and red pepper berry cultured butter, followed by a first course of Black Truffle Cacio e Pepe with bucatini pasta, kibbled pepper, and pecorino romano. For the second course, indulge in Tournedos Rossini featuring black angus tenderloin, seared foie gras, truffle pomme anna, wilted spinach, and a rich black truffle jus.  
To finish, enjoy the decadent Pear and Ricotta dessert, combining hazelnut sponge, vanilla poached pear, ricotta mousse, and truffle and sea salt ice cream. 

A luxurious seasonal experience available for a limited time, served lunch and dinner on Fridays and Saturdays from 18 July to 30 August 2025, unless sold out prior.
