Green Stay with The Fullerton Hotel Sydney

At The Fullerton Hotel Sydney, we are deeply committed to delivering exceptional experiences that honour both our guests and the world we share. Sustainability lies at the heart of our philosophy, and we take pride in preserving the environment while upholding the highest standards of hospitality.

In partnership with Hotels for Trees and ReForest Now, a respected non-profit organisation dedicated to ecological restoration, we invite you to join us in supporting native reforestation efforts.

Hotels for Trees was founded by Floris Licht in the Netherlands in 2021 and has since partnered with over 240 hotels globally, planting more than 600,000 trees. In mid-2024, the initiative launched in Australia through a collaboration with ReForest Now, focusing on rainforest restoration across Australia and Southeast Asia.

The Fullerton Hotel Sydney is delighted to support this initiative by planting a tree in Byron Bay, NSW, for each night a guest opts out of daily housekeeping during a multi-night stay. This positively impacts our environment by reducing water and energy consumption while contributing to the regeneration of native forests. Your simple choice to skip unnecessary daily cleaning directly supports the restoration of the Big Scrub Rainforest once the largest subtropical rainforest in Eastern Australia, now reduced to just 1% of its original size.

To participate, please speak with our Guest Services team upon arrival or opt in via your in-room tablet. Together, we can nurture a more sustainable future.
